Pike came into my life after my best friend Levi suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. The lovely Lisa Jansson from Intervall Kennel in Sweden had a litter with my offspring Ruby (Boone x Trouble) and Scotty (Grazer's Mr. Scott). And it happened as it had to happen... a quick brainstorming session (very quick), asking Lisa if she would entrust me with a puppy, and then off I went with my friend Anke on a three-day trip to Sweden. It was a great trip and I brought a fantastic dog back with me. Pike is so much my dog (I think Levi had a hand in that). He fit into the pack here without any problems and gets along great with all the dogs. He is friendly to everyone and somehow always cheerful.
And to top it all off, he is a dream to work with. Right-angled, wide flanks are his strength. He is absolutely honest with livestock (okay, I still have to explain ducks to him 😅), learns incredibly quickly, and is already super trainable. He has a great feel for animals and nerves of steel. He's just a lot of fun.
I can't thank Lisa enough for this great boy.
